One day does not mean twenty-four hours
The one-day product is valid until 24:00 on the selected calendar day. Buying it late in the afternoon does not carry it into the same time the next day, so match it to the date of motorway use.
The official shop is part of the price
The National Motorway Company warns that unofficial resellers can add handling charges without adding road access. Use eznamka.sk or an authorized point of sale and keep the electronic confirmation.
A trailer can change the vignette count
A vehicle combination up to 3.5 tonnes generally needs the vehicle vignette only. When the combined technically permissible weight exceeds 3.5 tonnes, an eligible trailer can require its own vignette too. Read the registration documents rather than guessing from appearance.
A rental car may already hold the password
Ask the rental company whether the exact number plate already has a valid vignette and how that confirmation can be checked. Duplicate purchases are avoidable when the car, plate and validity window are verified first.
