Rīgas satiksme's time ticket is built for transfers. It is valid on the operator's tram, trolleybus and bus routes, and the clock begins with the first registration.

The transfer does not register itself

The 90-minute window allows movement between Rīgas satiksme routes, but boarding a second vehicle without registering is not a valid transfer. Touch the yellow e-ticket to the validator or register the vehicle code in the app each time.

A code ticket needs a working phone

The smartphone method uses the QR code or five-digit vehicle number displayed inside and outside the tram, trolleybus or bus. Keep enough battery and data to show the registered ticket during inspection.

The yellow card is the visitor-friendly fallback

The cardboard yellow e-ticket is sold at ticket machines, Narvesen kiosks, Latvia Post offices in Riga and Rīgas satiksme outlets. Keep it flat and dry so the embedded chip continues to work.

Count the rides before buying the clock

The current day-ticket ladder is EUR 5 for 24 hours, EUR 8 for three days and EUR 10 for five days. Compare that with EUR 1.50 per 90-minute window, then buy for the way you will actually move.

The city clock stops at the operator boundary

The ticket covers Rīgas satiksme trams, trolleybuses and buses. It is not a general pass for every train, regional bus or private transport service in Latvia.
